Napa County Airport
Napa County: the "skyport to the wine country," at the south end of the valley and minutes from the valley floor.
The south end of the Napa Valley was marshland, and Napa County built its airport on it and owns it still. Napa County Airport is the closest field to the wine country's tasting rooms and resorts, general and business aviation with no scheduled airlines, the "skyport to the wine country," with the valley floor minutes away.
The calendar
APC is busiest when the valley is: harvest, release weekends, and the summer calendar. On those dates the price moves with the crowd. The airplanes on the ramp came for the valley as often as from it, and a traveler who can move a day or two gets a better number on the way to the tasting rooms.
On the field
As of mid-2026 the FBOs at Napa include Atlantic Aviation and Skyservice. Both handle the season's private-jet traffic on the general-aviation side.
