Cessna's 560 series, Citation V, Ultra, and Encore, is one of the most numerous families in the charter fleet. The straight wing is behind the forgiving short-field manners the series is known for. The cabin seats 7 or 8 and comes close to stand-up without getting there, walked with a stoop and a hand on the seatbacks.

Older designs with decades of service are the point of chartering one. The purchase price was paid off years ago, and what is left flows through to the hourly rate.
